WE DID IT, once again! Sycamore has been named a Capturing Kids Hearts Showcase School! I believe not only is this deserving as you do incredible things for our students-ensuring safety, loving them, teaching them, and building relationships with them are just naming a few. Incredible, especially this year, we know we have faced many obstacles with COVID. Persevering, and handling everything that came to us this year, we did with grace and let nothing stop us- THAT is doing right by our students. Remember, this honor is decided by data, interviews, and surveys by staff, students and parents. Thank you for wanting our students here five days a week, teaching and supporting them hybrid, distance and in person, not giving up or letting stress take a toll, but coming daily with a "we got this" attitude and then showing by example that we did- I love and appreciate all of you, all that you do, and am proud to be a part of this dedicated family Dragon team! Thank you isn't enough, but thank you! Have a beautiful day and pat yourself on the back.
A special thank you as well to our wonderful district for making the hard decisions in the beginning to have our students in person. We are fortunate to have the amazing leadership that we do!
